Introduction of 2090 Aluminium plate block
As an aluminum-lithium alloy, 2090 Aluminium plate block not only has low density, high specific strength and specific stiffness, excellent low temperature mechanical properties and good high temperature strength, but also has good corrosion resistance and excellent superplastic forming properties. Using it to replace the conventional aluminum alloy can reduce the quality of the components by 10% to 15% and increase the stiffness by 15% to 20%.
The 2090 Aluminium plate block developed by our company is a high-strength alloy, which can replace the traditional high-strength aluminum alloy 7075-T6X. In terms of strength and toughness, 2090 Aluminium plate block is basically the same as 7075 aluminum alloy block, but the elastic modulus and density of 2090 Aluminium plate block are better than 7075 alloy. Compared with aluminum alloy, 2090 aluminum-lithium alloy has better fatigue properties (high fatigue threshold value and lower crack growth rate), high temperature strength and corrosion resistance, and has superplastic properties.
